out musiced

i acquired new music this week now that the awful internet connection out here in the sticks is working again. i'm really loving my latest sufjan stevens albums,(my dream boat!) the shins, the decemberists, the raconteurs, the death proof soundtrack and madness.....(is there any band more fun than madness?)

look what i found this weekend

i found this hanging basket chair by chance, advertised online, and i snapped it up for a ridiculously low price. i've already advertised it and hope to make a profit, although i know it'll be one of those items i'll regret selling!!!

also discovered this heavenly rustic parisian style cafe named, "c'est la vie," in kalk bay. they were voted one of the joints to make the best coffees in cape town by a glossy magazine. they make breads of note and rival the best breakfast spots i've ever come across. my son loved it and locals greeted each other as though it were a communal dining room. 'twas a pity i couldn't get shots of the interior but take my word for it, it was "tres cool."
location: 48 Main Rd, Kalk Bay, Cape Peninsula, Cape Town - round the back of the art gallery and Lisa’s Little Wine Shop.
