i had a wonderful birthday weekend, with at least one birthday wish coming true.. (shhhhhhhhhh) and this morning my son went on his first school outing, to kalk bay's dalebrooke tidal pool, which had a mystical golden light shining down on it. the photo's came out beautifully. i spent the rest of the day in cape town collecting stock and starting my article on long street.

Thanks Heather. I found out that the 'mystical light' was from the fires in Somerset West!
amazing pics...interesting how there's such beauty in everything, even the fires
