folklore forest shoot

yesterday's shoot was so much fun. (you can click on the pics to make them larger.) i had lauren fowler assisting me as a stylist but she had to spend most of her time pretending to be an alpha male baboon to keep an entire troupe of baboons from stealing our vases and crochet blankets. the baboons feature in some of the pictures from the shoot and some even posed when they saw my camera. my models had to jump up when they decided to start charging us and we had to wave sticks, it was hectic!!! but the weather was too beautiful, the forest was lovely, my models, shannyn fourie and samantha laura kaye were exquisite and they rocked our folky frocks and even bought some afterwards, which is awesome and such a compliment! i'll get round to adding the details of each dress and the accessories today but you can check out the whole shoot here

What a lovely, dreamy shoot. Well done! The frocks are looking delightful. I especially love the red one in the first shot. It would be great if you could branch out to Durban - I think Mooi in Glenwood would be perfect for you and it would surely please your Durban fans. x

I have DURBAN FANS? Omw! Rad! Thank you for the lovely comment. My models basically bought all these dresses after the shoot and I have to run around like a headless turkey today to find the fabric again and make the dresses in time for the weekend! I love the red one too, its made from a lovely light cotton voile mmmmmmmmmm its floaty.

Oh, and I've been told I should contact Mooi a few times now but can't find their details - any idea? xx

Ah what a delightful photoshoot! The dresses are gorgeous and the forrest setting is a perfect fit for them!! So lovely. Would it be possible for you to check what shipping to Oslo, Norway would be for the red dress and the printed one in the picture with the horse? As I mentioned summer is approaching slowly here and your dresses would be such a hit.

Yes rad, I will check on shipping to Oslo! Those two dresses are great choices as they suit everyone! What size are you? They will be very light to post, and therefore reasonably priced, hopefully!

Thank you girls! Thandi: I'm afraid I've only just started at this so it'll still be a while til I branch out to other areas, but you can always have dresses or anything else couriered to you, if you have a body that usually fits into 'normal' sizes, like a 34 or 36 etc then you will have no problem fitting into our frocks. Our models have normal bodies, with curves and our frocks were designed for such bodies. So you are welcome to order dresses and return them if you're not happy with the fit. Let me know!
And Jo, I love that you love the photies and dresses, thank you for the love!

a medium, or a 34 depending on the boob space. Sometimes a 36 if the boob space is small. Does that make sense? Yes if they are quite light it should be ok to put in a large envelope? Will you email me the shipping price? nikki.lincoln@gmail.com Also, those headbands you mentioned on twitter... I'd love to see pics

Hey Nikki, I mailed you. The models are wearing smalls and they have uh um, generous chest areas, so I'm sure a small will be fine! Tell me which your favourite is and we can get cracking!
