This is a great, awesome give-away and I love Beatnik Bazaar! Everywhere I go I tell people to go see the shop because it's so gorgeous. This is really true, not just saying it because I really really badly want to win.
aside from summer dresses, take care clothing also makes casual but elegant tops, vests and shorts. the style reminds me of my first home, san francisco, another city in which understated sophistication is appreciated.
the wren design also sells more personalized moleskin notebooks that have a more natural look than the original tanned leather covers.

TATI: Oh Thaya even the thought of one of those inspires hope! Its a beautiful time for a competition and a great day to take on the world :)Did you actually open my head and look at my list of favourite things and put them together in a competition?! Let me anwer with the things I COVET MOST. Lula/Lauren Fowler makes the most divine scarflets and gourgeous heart shaped brooches with buttons on them - both of which I covet - yes I know summer is coming but I still feel I need a scarflet in the mornings and late at night. Mostly though I want her to draw the tattoo of knitting on her arm for me so I can have the same - weired culty groupy that I am ha ha. i was born in spring. yes, my birthday is on the 2nd September. And this is why i think i should win this competition (FYI), and because i have never ever won anything before.
Lauren, my dearest friend, makes so many pretty beautiful things. she makes the best business cards in the world that generate lots of business as well as gorgeous little scarflet ohara's which keep your throat/neck away from the winter chill.
Charly's bakery makes the most delicious cakes, sandwiches, gingerbread men all decorated with so much colour which makes you feel like its spring everyday. charly's petit fours are some of the most darling delicacies ever: too much of an artwork to eat and too tasty not to.
I can't decide whether take care's double pleat trou's or the pleat skirt are more comment-worthy but both are awesome, and made out of trademark exquisite fabrics.

Fowler makes all sorts of beautiful things including greeting cards and earrings. Harwood/Take Care makes the comfiest leggings and slips which i wear almost everyday, as well as fancy tracksuit pants with cuffs on the bottom, which let everyone know you have style, even when you are schloomfing around.

If I were to win and be a pretty young spring thing I could imagine the most perfect day. It would start off with doing my makeup, using my great new mac lipstick from "Samantha Laura Kaye", I would look extra pretty after some tips from her in my online consultation.
I could then pack up a picknick in my spacious "wren" tote and head out to Kirstenbosch in my perfect "take care" summer dress. At Kirstenbosch I would sit myself under a shady tree and read Paige Nick's "A Million Miles From Normal" while I eat my delicious cupcakes from Charly's Bakery. If it got a little chilly I could put on a "take care" Napoleon coat and a cute little "Lauren Fowler" scarflet.
When I get home I would take my laptop out of a stylish "wren" PPC cement laptop bag and browse the Beatnik Bazaar online shop and have a laugh reading Paige Nick's "A Million Miles From Normal Blog."
To top it all off for dinner I would munch on yummy Charly's Bakery Quiches and for dessert those perfectly delicious honest chocolates!
