yesterday was a spontaneous day, a quality that i treasure and love in other people. anyhoo, after getting my son his christmas present and having a flat white at marshall music, i popped round the corner and met my fellow lentil curtain dweller, donne at &union for the best lunch i've had in years! we had twitter users pop over and say hello and bumped into bloggers and tweeters the entire day - it was fab! unfortunately i looked like absolute crap but that's how life works, innit? we trawled long street and met marion from mungo & jemima, stopped in at mememe, sitting pretty and david west before retiring for a cold drink at boo radleys. we then headed to the artisan market in waterkant street, where we saw lauren, liesel trautman, wendren and loads more amazing designers. donne and i decided to head to the biscuit mill for the neighbourgoods xmas night market too and drank more artisan beer, ate more memorable pork rolls, stared at men with beards, taste tested honest chocolate's new spread, chatted to friends and designers who had stalls there, including marietjie - skermunkil, frances - my china, steffany roup, gene kierman, heather moore, jess -take care clothing and met more twitter users. it was a glorious day. thanks for being the raddest place in the world, cape town!
