autumn in cape town

image from 'we heart it'

i think it's officially autumn in south africa, even though many would try to deny it. the rain has just started falling, albeit between 32 degree celcius days. we've had such a long, hot summer, that we're all gagging for a change of season. in cape town, autumn and winter are cold enough for fires, red wine drinking, wool, blankets, thick socks, mountain snow and hearty stews, which many people living abroad don't know. capetonians are obsessed with the weather because we live such a large portion of our lives outdoors and don't know what to do with ourselves when it rains!

Your blog is really great. Just one suggestion: you really should start crediting your picture sources. See recent post at Cupcake Couture on this subject: http://lovecupcakecouture.blogspot.com/2011/03/lets-talk-blogging.html

Thanks for comment. I have credited my picture sources for two and a half years and by now I do feel it's a bit repetitive to keep saying that I use images from 'we heart it,' an image sourcing website. If I use images from someone's website that I have just mentioned, it's obvious where I sourced the image from and most often it's a case of losing the website address by the time I foinally use the image. But for the most part, I use www.weheartit.com which my blog readers should know by this point!

Hi
'Anonymous' referred to my post and I didn't want there to be any hard feelings.
I think some photographers have just been feeling let down my sites like We heart it and Pinterest as often their sites aren't mentioned that's all. So in some cases we never know the real source of some images/photographers names etc...
Beautiful pics none the less.
