i'd like to introduce you to the best video camera ever. it's a kodak playsport - and you can win it here on this very blog! let me tell you what's rad about it: you can swim underwater in a pool and film. it can mount on your bicycle and film. you can take it to the beach and film your friends swimming underwater. you can take it skiing down the alps (as you do). you can let the kids have fun with it, because it's designed to take a few knocks. you can quad bike with it in the dunes and film the totally retarded expression on your face. and you can send your vids to youtube/vimeo etc. it's actually just ridiculously awesome. this video camera has literally just inspired me to embark on an aquatic adventure, go diving and book a holiday in the french alps.

LOVE this. I love that you can mount it to your bicycle and watch where you've cycled afterwards like a mini french film.. I like slow, leisurely bike rides in beautiful areas, while eating croissants, not the hectic "vida cyclist" type rides where you get taken out by Springboks :)

So my friend and I reckon that our life is so much of a hoot that people would die laughing if they had to watch our imaginary reality show - with this puppy we could actually film our epic stupidity for you and the world to see. I love the colours...I love colour....& the fact that i can keep it in my bag and bring it out in an instant for taking special memories of my monkeys...i mean kids.
With a little beauty like this, we can make the rest of Cape Towns natural icons as wondrous as the flat mountain. Ok, so having a bazillion more tourists in town and spending half the day stuck behind a red sightseeing buss is not everyone's cup of tea.
The Playsport though, looks pretty damn talented at recording Kodak-Memory-Moments (in HD nogal) that back up the stories I tell with the flair of a raconteur, after an adventurous day out ... you won't believe what we get up to all over this planet. You will when you see it recorded on the Playsport and hear it loud and clearly too (earmuffs for children please, some colourful language sometimes sneaks in) thanks to an external mic jack for great audio options. Yea for the removable, rechargeable battery! My movie adventures can now be longer than this comment! Ole'

Love the kiddie friendly aspect - have been looking for a child friendly digital camera, so I can encourange my son's creative aspirations without hovering over him in case he drops my camera!
And as for using it on a bike - HUGE fun. Wonder if I could adapt it to a doggie cam? Would love to see what the dog gets up to when we are not around ;)

I took my first camera along on a family beach holiday and got sand it the lens on the very first day. I would love to be able to take photos on the beach without worrying about the water and sand.
I know. I can NEVER take my camera to the or out at night. Apparently this baby shoots great stills at night too...
Clearly these babies look gorgeous - highlight when you want your camera with you *all* the time :)
Amongst all the forementioned delightful things about the camera - its hard knock-ability etc, I love that I won't have to pry this away from my neices!
They love my gadgets (their folks aren't really into electronics like I am!), but am constantly rescuing my ipod & blackberry etc from their grubby-liable-to-drop-everything hands!

I can colour code my outfit to match it when I go out(I'd actually never do that). I LOVE this camera because it is so cute and small so it can fit in my bikini in Mozambique when I go in Dec and I can whip it out every time I ride a dolphin, or meet a hot boy. And I love it because I don't have to have it in orange. And I love that I can drop it a little bit on grass and it won't break.

My dog has separation anxiety, and he goes completely schizophrenic when he's left alone. I'm so curious to witness the progress of the hulk coming out. How can such a sweet little daschund make my home look like toranado aftermath. This calls for pan intervention [PROJECT KODAK] hang camera on his collar and witness the damage.
I have the most angelic cutsey daschund who goes completely schizophrenic when I leave the house. The doctors call it seperation anxiety, and the damage done is just unbelievable. I've always been curious to see the progress of damage when he becomes the hulk, as I can't imagine how he manages to make my place look like tornado aftermath. This calls for an intervention which I'm going to call [PROJECT KODAK] Hang the kodak on his collar and witness the miniature hulk.
I'm so inspired by this little camera that I wrote a poem about its uses...
I met a man, a sexy man
And I wanted to know him more.
By this of course, I clearly mean,
To see beneath his drawers.
Alas my use of flattery
Was clearly ineffective.
I'd only seen atop his clothes,
And missed my first objective.
But then one day with mutual friends,

(That last bit didn't rhyme, but who cares, I'm too busy looking at creepy video footage of a hot man)
This pint sized wateproof beauty with the everything automatic - including the focus, exposure and white balance - makes snapping my sonic the hedgehog-like 2 year old son quite possible. not having to lug about but instead conveniently transport it in my jean pant means it's less of a thought and more of an automatic
'whip it out'to capture all those small but very significant moments as my son grows up. very important for a parent like myself, doing it all.

I would take this baby, tuck it into the top of my cossi and let it take in the sea world from my boob's perspective.
I would strap it to my head as I ride my bicycle around the beauty that is cape town.
I'd also film my feet doing funny things in the bath.

I googled it and was amazed of all the features it boasts - the image stabilization would be my favorite as things tend to get a little shaky when surfing or mountain biking - i love this camera, I would go do extreme things just to have an excuse to use it! Im about to go 'trekking' in the Bale Mountains in Ethiopia - some on horseback, some on foot... epic adventures are bound to ensue and who wouldn't want one of those bad boys to have in hand along the way :)

I love the features that make for a highly portable device which I can take on any crazy mission and have the potential of recording it too...!!! which would be impossible without these, or rather - would just result in another madder more shaky and low-saturated rendition of abovementioned mission which would have resulted in a broken, and now - discardable camera...

Love this camera! Was thinking about how awesome it would be to have one when I went for a run this morning - whats the point of being up when the sun is rising if you can't share that beauty? Love the image stabilization feature as well - means I won't have to stop to take a pic :)
This cute, pocket size, tough and gorgeously kodak camera is just what I need to film my girls dressage and show jumping rounds! Perfect surprise christmas gift in the post.
This is so perfect for me! As a scientist I'm always going on surveys and trips to game/nature reserves, out on and in the water on my own time and for work, and this little baby would make capturing everything so much easier. From past experience, other cameras are too bulky or too prone to blitzing after being exposed to the SA elements! So the immunity to water and rough treatment are the aspects of this gadget I love the most :)
I love the idea that you can film with it under water. This is something I would love to do over this holidays :) And I must say that being able to take few knocks is brilliant too (I drop my handbag all the time :)- Very clumsy :)))
If Oprah were still on air she'd be throwing these babies around like glitter at a Madonna concert. Too cool! I'd like to say that I would film grand adventures, but I'd probably spy on my cats or film my feet all day, different textures, sounds and shoes. Awesome giveaway!
