new quilt design
i'm loving this new quilt design, perfect for boy's rooms! i adore the vintage tartan fabric and the gingham. you can order yours in any colour preferences/overtones to create one that is, for example, more red, or orange or mixed. as i said in my radio interview recently on sa/fm, these quilts make the most beautiful personalised wedding gift, as each person can contribute a special piece of fabric to the quilt. see more quilt designs here

i'm no 'chef type', by any stretch of the imagination, but i have had to feed a child for ten years of my life and boy, have i had to budget! if there are any foodie types reading this, perhaps you can contribute some more ideas, as these are merely the dinner experiments of a mere mortal. i see some shops offering family meal ideas for R100 and i start thinking...R100 x 7 days a week = single parents need better options! so here are some of the suppers i make for my son and i, for around R50. i have many more posts planned, so i hope you find this one useful.
